Project Engineer – Investment Projects

About the role

Mondelēz is looking for a Project Engineer in its production plant in Opava (or sister plants in the Czech Republic). You will define and provide investment and technical support on projects, prepare documents, budgets, plans and technical solutions, supervise installations and machine modifications, control external contractors and internal staff, and ensure compliance with technical standards and project budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment projects in the Opava plant or sister plants, defining technology requirements that meet production teams' needs while respecting safety and quality standards
• Create budgets, schedules and investment requirements based on offers and feasibility assessments
• Coordinate internal and external resources and work with other teams on testing, FMEA analysis and process troubleshooting
• Coordinate technical departments, report project status and hand over technology to operation, evaluating performance after the trial period
• Take part in tendering for new technologies, machines and equipment, including evaluation and ordering
• Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, project rules and project management process, and prepare project status reports

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing company on a similar position
• General technological overview, analytical thinking and good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Very good knowledge of Czech/Slovak and English is required

Required skills

• User-level knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
• Experience implementing automation equipment
