Academic Operations Manager - Prague

About the role

Verto Education, which provides experiential travel programs for the first year of college before transfer to US universities, is hiring an Academic Operations Manager for its Prague study center. The role is hybrid, based at the Prague HQ and reporting to the Associate Director of Academic Operations. It is a hands-on, individual-contributor position bridging on-site academic operations and US-based leadership, requiring work across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AAHQ projects end-to-end in Asana, coordinating stakeholders, calendars, handoffs and site localization
• Maintain resources, templates and SOPs for recurring academic processes such as Add/Drop, course evaluations and onboarding
• Define business requirements and run QA and testing for academic technology projects, and act as a power user of tools such as Canvas, Dropout Detective and Qwickly
• Act as account administrator for externally contracted tools, ensuring data privacy and FERPA compliance, and design or deliver training
• Build and maintain academic reports and dashboards from Salesforce, Canvas and Google products, and turn raw data into clear insights for stakeholders
• Support onsite specialists with escalations and ticket triage, and serve as project lead for faculty credentialing, onboarding and offboarding
• Organize AAHQ offsite logistics and recommend technology or AI solutions to remove operational bottlenecks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree in a related field is a plus
• 4-6 years of project-management experience, ideally in education, operations or academic services
• Existing legal authorization to work in the designated location
• Comfort working across time zones with US teams and in international, multi-site, hybrid or remote-first settings

Required skills

• Hands-on Asana and Salesforce or similar systems
• Data analysis and reporting, including presentations and briefing notes
• Excellent written and spoken English and cross-cultural communication
