Technical Specialist (Part Time) - Training Center

About the role

ABB is hiring a part-time Technical Specialist for its EUOPC Training Center, part of the Technology & Development department. Reporting to the Technical Training Manager, the specialist supports the development of innovative training solutions and helps optimise training operations. The role involves working with AI tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams and representing ABB at events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop training materials: create content and resources for employees and trainers, working with documentation in English and AI tools
• Support training center operations: manage inventories and propose innovations and technical solutions for better efficiency
• Design and prepare demonstrations: create engaging demo projects with various ABB teams
• Represent ABB at events such as Open Days, trade fairs and corporate events

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English (at least B2), the working language
• Common understanding of automation
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Preferred: interest and experience with AI tools and automation (Copilot, Gemini, MCP, API), experience making presentations or training materials, basic technical understanding or engineering background, public speaking experience, proactive and creative approach
