Associate Director, HR Privacy & M&A

About the role

Join the HR Technology team as an Associate Director responsible for overseeing HR data privacy and supporting mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will lead compliance with global privacy regulations and ensure HR systems enable seamless integration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the lead HR Global Data Privacy Steward, participating in privacy working groups and ensuring compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act and other regulations.
• Lead M&A strategy execution for HR systems, coordinating mass data loads, system access and process integration during acquisitions, divestitures and mergers.
• Oversee SOX audit controls for HR processes and provide guidance to HR leadership on privacy risks and mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experience in HR, HRIS, IT or Operations, including at least 4 years in global data privacy.
• Proven project‑management experience on at least two global HR technology projects and strong knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations.
• Experience with HR technology platforms, especially Workday, and involvement in M&A data management.

Required skills

• Workday HR system expertise.
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for data loads.
• Implementation of AI‑powered HR tools and understanding of AI ethics/privacy.
