Cold Store & Chiller Rental Sales Engineer

About the role

Trane Technologies is looking for a customer-facing sales engineer for its cold storage and chiller rental solutions business in Prague. The role combines technical expertise with business development: you will engage directly with customers and, when not in contact with them, collaborate with colleagues in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for container cold storage and chiller rental across several industries.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, keep customer data up to date and support sales planning and forecasting.
• Advise customers on the right technical solutions based on their operational needs and site requirements.
• Carry out customer visits and assessments to prepare accurate rental proposals.
• Work with engineering, service technicians, rental coordinators and sales teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Provide ongoing customer support, including follow-up, issue resolution and after-sales coordination.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to find growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Sales experience, ideally in refrigeration, cold storage or rental solutions.
• Good technical understanding of refrigeration systems; installation knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated and able to manage several priorities at once.
• Ability to work across departments.
• Valid driving licence.
