Account Manager Czech Republic & Slovakia

About the role

CHEP, part of Brambles, is looking for an Account Manager to join its Commercial Team and drive growth across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role focuses on developing and opening new market sectors, leading complex commercial negotiations with high-potential manufacturing customers and prospects, and engaging strategically with key retailers. The position is hybrid remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, verify service quality and give daily support in the relevant region to ensure business continuity.
• Acquire new customers and grow business on the current customer portfolio.
• Negotiate commercial terms with customers and review revenue and profit against targets, as well as customer performance against KPIs and audit progress.
• Lead contract negotiations so terms meet customer needs while supporting business objectives.
• Conduct customer business reviews, address concerns and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Monitor account performance and customer satisfaction, and identify new business through prospecting and networking.
• Maintain a 100% accurate sales funnel in the Sales Force CRM and cooperate with other teams to deliver high-quality service.

Required profile

• Ideally 2+ years of experience in account management or selling services to large organizations with complex decision-making processes.
• Proven track record of delivering challenging sales targets and contributing to business strategy.
• Fluency in English and Czech/Slovak.
• Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Salesforce literacy and numerical skills.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
