Culinary Intern

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a Culinary Intern to support daily kitchen operations in a luxury hospitality setting. Under the guidance of the culinary leadership, you will learn professional kitchen standards, food preparation techniques and the importance of teamwork, building a foundation for a culinary career. The position is offered for a defined period of 6 months, with a possible extension to an unlimited contract depending on performance, and includes a 3-month trial period.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation and daily kitchen tasks.
• Support mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene in all work areas.
• Follow standard recipes and assist with plating and presentation.
• Adhere to HACCP, hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
• Support different kitchen sections and assist during events and service periods.

Required profile

• Strong interest in culinary arts and hospitality.
• Culinary school enrollment or recent graduation is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Current work authorization in the Czech Republic or an EU passport.
