Pastry Commis

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a Pastry Commis to support the pastry kitchen team in delivering high-quality culinary experiences. You will assist with preparation, production and daily operations within your assigned section, working closely with the Chef de Partie and senior chefs to maintain consistency, precision and excellence in every dish. The position is full-time, scheduled for an undefined period with a 3-month trial period, and applicants need current work authorization in the Czech Republic or an EU passport.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations within your assigned pastry station
• Assist in preparing menu items and specials according to standards
• Complete mise en place and set up the station properly before service
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to keep quality consistent
• Communicate with senior chefs about shortages or operational needs
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace and store food and ingredients correctly after service
• Follow HACCP and hygiene standards at all times
• Support timely and efficient food service and help with other kitchen tasks as needed

Required profile

• Previous experience in a professional pastry kitchen
• Fluency in English
• Current work authorization in the Czech Republic or an EU passport
• Culinary or hospitality certification is an advantage
