DC Systems Manager – Full-Time Permanent

About the role

H&M Group is hiring a DC Systems Manager for its new distribution centre in Cheb, Karlovy Vary Region, Czechia, which is expected to open in the second half of 2026. The manager leads the department responsible for DC technology, ensuring the WMS and associated warehouse systems integrate seamlessly and perform reliably. The role reports directly to the DC Manager and is a full-time position on a local contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technology Operations team, fostering a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage system budgets and vendor relationships to keep operations cost-effective.
• Oversee deployment and maintenance of technology projects, ensuring uptime, compliance and smooth release management.
• Coordinate system functionality and downtime across all warehouse technologies.
• Drive incident response and troubleshooting, including emergency call participation.
• Train end users on system functionalities.
• Collaborate with DC Operations, Safety and DC Management, and report regularly to senior leadership on system initiatives, risks and performance.
• Define and monitor KPIs and recommend system improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and training.
• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep expertise in warehouse operations, cost drivers and DC systems, including current technologies and emerging trends.
• Business fluent in Czech and English.
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration and commitment to professional growth.
