Development Specialist Cardiovascular

About the role

Medtronic's Cardiovascular Group (CVG) develops interventional therapies for complex cardiovascular conditions. This Development Specialist Cardiovascular role supports the growth and adoption of the CVG portfolio across Czechia through clinical expertise, technical consultation and customer partnership. It is remote-based within Czechia and requires frequent travel to hospitals, healthcare facilities, customer sites and industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical and scientific discussions with physicians, catheterisation laboratory teams and other healthcare professionals to support the appropriate use of cardiovascular technologies.
• Provide on-site procedural support, product demonstrations and technical troubleshooting during clinical cases and customer engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and distributor partners across the territory.
• Identify opportunities to expand portfolio utilisation by assessing clinical needs and therapeutic gaps in customer accounts.
• Deliver clinical education and product training to support customer competency and confidence.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and clinical teams on territory growth strategies.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback, market insights and competitive intelligence.
• Ensure all activities comply with quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Natural Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or a related healthcare discipline, with relevant experience in a medical device, healthcare or clinical environment.
• Fluency in Czech and English.
• Experience providing clinical, technical or customer-facing support in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout Czechia, with a valid driving licence and access to customer sites across the territory.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience supporting interventional cardiology, structural heart, vascular or other catheter-based procedural environments.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, disease states and treatment pathways.
• Project management experience and the ability to analyse clinical and business opportunities in customer accounts.

• A competitive salary with a pay range of 1,020,000 to 1,530,000 CZK in Czechia.
