DevOps Engineer II

About the role

Zebra is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer II to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on building secure CI/CD pipelines, managing vulnerabilities, and promoting a security‑first culture across development and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment of Zebra’s solution into customer environments using simulation tools and custom scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams as the first user of new features and communicate with customer ops, security, and IT staff.
• Create end‑to‑end solutions with architects and developers to improve deployment, monitoring, and ease of sale.
• Develop scripts and leverage tools to explore new features and provide additional customer capabilities.
• Support multiple platforms including IoT devices, Android, NUC boxes, dedicated servers, and cloud environments.
• Assist in troubleshooting by replicating bugs and investigating performance issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience with Linux, Windows, Docker and cloud platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across organizational boundaries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
