Freelance OT Security Architect

About the role

Devoteam, a technology consulting firm specialising in cloud, data, cybersecurity and AI, is seeking an experienced OT Security Architect for a long-term project in Prague. The role requires immediate availability and a commitment of more than one year. You will define global and regional OT security strategies and set tailored security baselines and controls across industrial control environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define global and regional OT security strategies and establish security baselines and controls in industrial control environments
• Lead the design and deployment of critical infrastructure protections such as network segmentation, firewalls, secure remote access and IDS/IPS solutions
• Ensure architectures fit the operational constraints of manufacturing sites and comply with GxP and regulatory standards
• Manage external technology vendors and liaise with IT, engineering, business and plant operational teams
• Create clear, auditable architectural blueprints, security baselines and technical documentation

Required profile

• Senior-level experience as an OT Security Architect or Lead, with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record of defining and executing global or regional OT security roadmaps and giving technical guidance to project teams
• Ability to start immediately
• Security clearance, if applicable

Required skills

• Network segmentation (Purdue model/zones and conduits), firewalls, secure remote access and IDS/IPS
• OT risk evaluation, mitigation planning and selection of OT cybersecurity tools
• GxP and industrial frameworks: ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001
