Head Nurse – Internal Ward & ICU

About the role

The Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an experienced Head Nurse to lead the internal ward and intensive care unit. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality patient care while fostering a motivated and professional nursing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the internal ward and ICU nursing teams.
• Supervise the quality of health‑care services provided.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other medical staff.
• Support, motivate, and develop team members.
• Participate in defining and improving care processes and standards.

Required profile

• Professional qualification to practice as a general nurse (BSc./Mgr. or equivalent).
• Medical fitness and integrity.
• Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in health‑care.
• Excellent organisational, communication and management abilities.
• Diligence, reliability and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to continue learning and developing professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
