Junior Robotics Software Engineer (ROS)

About the role

Join REVEL, an AI robotics company, as a Junior Robotics Software Engineer focused on ROS. The position is on‑site in our Prague lab, supporting robot software and locomotion work.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop and integrate ROS nodes.
• Test software on physical robot hardware.
• Support locomotion experiments and data collection.

Required profile

• 1+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Working knowledge of ROS or ROS2 (nodes, topics, services, launch files) from coursework, projects, or internships.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Basic familiarity with Linux command line.
• Understanding of fundamental robotics concepts such as coordinate frames, kinematics, and sensor data.
• Comfortable using Git for version control.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn in a hands‑on environment.
