Key Account Manager - Payments

About the role

TSYS is looking for a Key Account Manager (f/m/d) to join its Sales team in Prague. The role helps shape the future of global commerce by building long-term relationships with key customers and driving growth in the payments sector.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, engaging senior decision makers and influencers to ensure satisfaction and sustainable partnerships.
• Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities to grow the customer portfolio.
• Promote payment solutions and services to raise awareness, generate demand and strengthen market position.
• Achieve revenue targets by growing existing accounts and increasing revenue per customer.
• Understand customer needs through regular business reviews and strategic discussions, linking customer priorities with the company's products and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account management, sales or relationship management, ideally in payments or financial services.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence senior-level decision makers.
• Commercial mindset with experience in identifying sales opportunities, developing account strategies and reaching revenue targets.
• Bonus: experience managing strategic or enterprise-level accounts, knowledge of payment acceptance solutions, and experience developing account growth strategies in an international or cross-functional environment.
