Pre-Sales Engineer - Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

JCI is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to support its sales team in preparing technical and commercial proposals for industrial refrigeration projects. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management and suppliers, the role helps coordinate proposal activities, ensures accurate project documentation and contributes to delivering competitive solutions that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for industrial refrigeration projects.
• Review customer requirements, specifications, drawings and related documentation.
• Assist with project costing, quotations, estimates and proposal documentation.
• Coordinate information and inputs from Sales, Engineering, Project Management, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain proposal files, cost calculations and supporting documentation.
• Support the sales team with technical information and customer-facing materials.
• Help identify potential project risks and ensure proposal accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal and estimating processes.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured way.
• Preferred: experience in sales support, proposal preparation, administration, project coordination or a similar role; experience in a technical, engineering, manufacturing or project-based environment; experience preparing quotations, reports, estimates or customer documentation; interest in engineering, technology or industrial projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
