Payment Analyst - Clinical Trials

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Payment Analyst in Prague to manage the end-to-end investigator and site payment processes for clinical trials, including payment calculations, purchase orders and clinical trial payments. The role acts as a liaison between Contract & Centralized Services, other GCO teams and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with business partners in Pharma/MedTech and other groups, promptly address payment inquiries and escalate concerns to the right channels
• Share knowledge about the payment process and support the Payments Team on country, regional and global improvements
• Prepare startup activities for new studies accurately and on time, and perform payment requests on schedule according to the CTA
• Track communications and approvals, align payment metrics with targets, and run regular interim and final reconciliations
• Own the end-to-end payment coordination and execution for assigned studies, maintain audit readiness and comply with requirements
• Support rollout of new systems, use data quality checks, keep training and time reporting compliant, and troubleshoot technical issues
• Maintain communication tools such as email distribution and escalation priorities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Fluency in Czech, Swedish, German, Turkish, Hungarian, Dutch, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese; additional languages optional
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research, and preferred experience with clinical payment processing
• Excellent oral and written communication, ability to work in cross-functional and virtual teams, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office suite at a minimum
• Data quality checks and payment reconciliation
