People Business Partner - Industrial Plant

About the role

Holcim EBS is looking for a People Business Partner in Cizkovice to act as a strategic and operational partner to plant leadership. You will support the end-to-end employee lifecycle and shape the future of the workforce through regional development initiatives in an industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Drive employee lifecycle management: onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, offboarding and medical compliance
• Draft and manage employment documentation and contracts in line with the Czech Labor Code
• Coach plant line managers on leadership practices, team dynamics and labor law
• Oversee mandatory training, Individual Development Plans and the Cement Industrial Academy
• Run recruitment for plant roles and work with local schools and community institutions on employer branding
• Collaborate on cross-functional HR initiatives and ad-hoc plant operational goals

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in an HR or People Business Partner role, preferably in manufacturing or industry
• High school diploma; a Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Psychology or Andragogy strongly preferred
• Native-level Czech or Slovak and professional English (at least B2)
• Strong influence and coaching skills, integrity and resilience, with a hands-on approach suited to an industrial plant

Required skills

• Deep working knowledge of the Czech Labor Code
• HR processes such as onboarding, performance management and recruitment
