Principal Pricing Strategy Analyst - 12 Months Contract

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Principal Pricing Strategy Analyst for its Cardiovascular Strategic Pricing Team, reporting to the Senior Pricing Strategy Manager Cardiovascular EurAsia. The role acts as a liaison between the Marketing and Offer Development teams, covering new product pricing, scenario modelling and financial analysis, and guides Marketing on pricing strategy, promotions and price-volume initiatives. It is a 12-month contract covering the Cardiovascular business across the region, with the candidate able to be based in Istanbul, Johannesburg, Kazakhstan, Prague, Warsaw, Bucharest or Bratislava.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of strategic pricing frameworks across the sub-region, aligned with business objectives, portfolio dynamics and market realities.
• Act as a business partner to sub-regional leadership, marketing and commercial teams, advising on pricing roadmaps, value-based segmentation and market access readiness.
• Shape pricing strategies for new product launches and commercial models, turning competitive insights and economic value drivers into clear pricing direction.
• Integrate pricing decisions into planning cycles, business cases and lifecycle management to drive profitability and growth.
• Own the pricing input into the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, including ASP planning across portfolios, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to localise pricing governance and build pricing capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing or commercial finance.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and entrepreneurial approach, able to navigate complex, multi-cultural and multi-functional environments and drive internal buy-in.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Comfortable with various simulations.
