Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Medtronic is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for its EurAsia headquarters FP&A team in Prague. The role combines finance expertise with advanced analytics and digital capability to support the EurAsia Leadership Team and Finance Leadership Team. You will analyse financial and operational performance, support planning and forecasting, prepare management reports and executive presentations, and turn complex data into clear insights for leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial and operational performance and support planning and forecasting cycles
• Prepare clear management reporting and executive-ready presentations
• Work with FP&A teams and business partners to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Translate financial results and business developments into analysis, commentary and presentations
• Help explain performance drivers and support strategic and operational decisions
• Improve the quality and efficiency of FP&A processes through reporting and analytical tools

Required profile

• Degree in finance, business, accounting, information systems, analytics, computer science or a related field
• 3-4 years' experience in FP&A, finance analytics, BI, reporting, automation or financial systems
• Advanced degree, professional finance qualification or relevant technology certification
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to work independently and in a virtual, multicultural team
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, planning, forecasting and variance analysis
• Power BI and advanced Excel
• Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, Essbase or similar planning platforms
• Experience with automation, low-code or AI tools, and exposure to cloud data platforms
• Experience in agile delivery, testing, release management, training and adoption
