Principal Technical Consultant - TAVI

About the role

Medtronic's Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) business works with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and heart teams to advance minimally invasive therapies for severe aortic stenosis. As Principal Technical Consultant, you will be the clinical and technical expert for the TAVI portfolio, supporting procedural success, therapy adoption and customer education. The position is based in Czechia, uses a flex work model combining field work with remote work, and requires travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical and technical support for TAVI procedures at customer sites
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and physician education programs
• Guide physicians and clinical teams on product use and procedural best practices
• Work with sales teams on account strategies and therapy adoption
• Act as the main technical link between customers, sales reps and internal clinical teams
• Run on-site training and consultation
• Lead or contribute to territory and cross-functional projects
• Mentor colleagues on complex clinical, technical and customer matters

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or 5+ years of experience in medical device, cardiovascular, structural heart or clinical support
• At least 5 years of experience supporting healthcare professionals in a clinical, technical or customer-facing role
• Experience providing clinical or technical support for catheter-based cardiovascular procedures
• Regular travel to customer sites across the territory
• Fluent Czech and English

Preferred qualifications

• TAVI experience, including physician training or case coverage
• Experience with interventional cardiology, structural heart or cardiac surgery teams
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics and structural heart therapies
• Project leadership experience in a medical device setting
