Procurement Specialist – French Fluent

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will own a specific category within a country, supporting the development and execution of the Category Strategy and Annual Plan. The role involves driving sourcing projects, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Define sourcing scope, conduct opportunity analysis, and manage eSourcing events from planning to award communication.
• Perform supplier selection, risk analysis, scoring, and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Prepare and draft contracts using standard templates, coordinate approvals, and oversee signature processes.
• Maintain contract records in the global contract management system, monitor expirations, and initiate extensions or terminations.
• Track savings, calculate baseline metrics, and report KPI performance.
• Identify process automation opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate supplier performance reviews and act as escalation point for delivery issues.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (both written and spoken).
• Experience in category‑based procurement or supply‑chain sourcing.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct opportunity and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and supplier interaction.
