Product Owner - Supply Chain

About the role

Vilgain is seeking a Product Owner to lead the end‑to‑end supply‑chain planning system. You will be responsible for the models that decide what to buy, produce, and where to ship, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Own demand‑forecasting models, track accuracy and consolidate channel‑level forecasts into a single actionable plan.
• Design and maintain allocation and distribution logic for stock across D2C, B2B and retail channels.
• Develop automated ordering and replenishment algorithms to maximise fully automated orders and minimise manual intervention.
• Translate demand forecasts into input and material plans that respect lead times, minimum order quantities and shelf‑life constraints.
• Build scalable data models and processes that can grow with increasing SKU count, channel mix and fulfillment network.
• Define the vision and roadmap for supply‑chain automation in close collaboration with software developers and data engineers.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in forecast accuracy, service level optimisation, safety‑stock calculation and lead‑time variability.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional technical teams (software developers, data engineers, data scientists).
• Experience in supply‑chain planning, demand forecasting or related fields.
