Sales Representative - Maternity Leave Cover (Robotic Surgery)

About the role

Medtronic is looking for an experienced medical device professional to cover maternity leave as a Technical Consultant for Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) solutions. The role is based in Prague, Czech Republic, with about 60-70% travel across the region, and involves working with surgeons, clinical teams, hospital stakeholders and internal commercial partners to support the deployment, training and use of robotic surgical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets within an assigned territory and customer base.
• Promote and sell Medtronic's robotic surgery products and services to healthcare institutions and professionals.
• Build long-term relationships with surgeons, operating room teams, hospital management and key decision-makers.
• Identify new business opportunities, assess customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Support hospitals from initial engagement through implementation and adoption.
• Organize and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, educational events and clinical workshops.
• Collaborate with clinical, technical and marketing teams and monitor market trends and competitors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare or a related field.
• Proven experience in medical device sales, capital equipment sales, healthcare technology or a related commercial role.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
• Preferred: willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

What we offer

• Competitive salary in the range 1,064,000 to 1,596,000 CZK, depending on experience and qualifications.
