Senior Architect, ServiceNow

About the role

The Adecco Group is looking for a Senior Architect, ServiceNow in Prague. The role drives the architectural direction of the ServiceNow platform so that projects, programmes and platform investments follow a scalable, sustainable and value-driven strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture, standards, principles and roadmap, and evaluate new capabilities and trends.
• Drive platform simplification, standardisation and reduction of technical debt, keeping architectural decisions aligned with long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Set architectural governance processes and act as design authority for significant platform changes; review and approve solution designs and promote out-of-the-box usage.
• Act as the primary ServiceNow architectural representative for projects and programmes, working with Enterprise, Solution and Technical Architects, producing impact assessments and technical guidance.
• Provide architectural leadership to architects, developers and administrators, run design workshops and act as escalation point for architectural issues.
• Build relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners, and collaborate with ServiceNow and vendors on contracts, roadmaps and capabilities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in ServiceNow architecture roles in large, complex enterprise environments, with proven experience governing platform architecture and roadmaps.
• Demonstrable experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes and complex project portfolios.
• Experience establishing design standards, governance frameworks and architecture review processes.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and technology leadership teams.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar technical discipline.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Occasional travel of up to 20%.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, platform capabilities and best practices, across multiple product suites including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, CSM, HRSD, SPM, IRM, SecOps and AI.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies and modern architecture principles.
• Desirable: TOGAF, ITIL v4, CSA, CAD and CTA certifications.
