Senior Finance Controller – Professional Products Division

About the role

As a (Senior) Finance Controller in L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division, you will be responsible for the financial performance of the luxury hair‑care portfolio across the CZ/HU/SK region. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will own the full P&L of the online channel and partner with commercial and marketing teams to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• P&L Ownership: Manage and control the full profit and loss of the luxury business channel.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and forecasting aligned with brand strategies and product launches.
• Strategic Business Partnering: Provide financial insights to marketing and commercial teams for pricing, promotions and go‑to‑market decisions.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor key drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions.
• Management Reporting: Deliver monthly performance reviews and variance analysis for boutique, e‑commerce and department‑store channels.
• ROI Evaluation: Assess financial impact of premium commercial initiatives, brand activations and trade investments.
• Compliance & Agility: Ensure strict compliance and internal controls while supporting commercial agility.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiencies, refine financial analysis and embed a performance‑driven mindset.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in controlling or commercial finance with strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Good understanding of P&L management, including revenue, gross margin, OPEX, trade and retail spend.
