Senior IP Solution Manager

About the role

Huawei is looking for an experienced Senior IP Solution Manager in Prague to drive technical solution development and business growth across IP networking opportunities. The role works closely with customers, sales teams and technical experts to design competitive solutions, support strategic projects and help develop next-generation IP network architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical activities for IP opportunities: workshops, solution architecture, proposals and presentations.
• Partner with the sales team to drive account strategy, working with account managers and other departments so projects run smoothly.
• Develop technical responses for RFP/RFQ/tenders: technical narratives, BoQ/BoM configuration, scope assumptions and risk statements.
• Own solution design for IP networks (L2/L3, Segment Routing, QoS, traffic engineering, security integration, high availability).
• Define PoC/pilot plans, acceptance criteria and success metrics.
• Collect and prioritise customer and field feedback and turn it into clear requirements for R&D and product teams.
• Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market materials, customer references, webinars and product announcements.
• Support business planning: revenue forecasting, pipeline health analysis and margin improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• More than 3 years of working experience in the IP domain.
• Proven experience delivering winning bid responses and leading customer-facing technical workshops and presentations.
• Strong business acumen: translating technical differentiators into customer value and commercial outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage from engineering teams to C-level stakeholders.
• Familiarity with competitive market landscapes and differentiated positioning for IP portfolios.
• University degree preferred.
• Eligible to work and live in Prague; applications without a CV are not considered.

Required skills

• Deep technical expertise in IP routing and switching (mandatory)
• Enterprise architectures: BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN/VXLAN, Segment Routing, QoS, HA and network security integration
• Professional English and fluent Czech
• Preferred: carrier, enterprise, data centre or cloud networking experience; CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE or equivalent certifications
