Senior Manager, BD/Growth Lead, A2O

About the role

PwC Czech Republic's Applied Intelligence & Autonomous Operations (A2O) team, part of the xTG / Financial Crime practice, is looking for a Senior Manager, BD/Growth Lead in Prague. A2O delivers AI, data and technology solutions across banking, insurance and other regulated industries, moving beyond proof of concept into production. You will own pipeline growth and the practice's alliance and partnership networks, acting as the commercial engine and external face of A2O.

Key responsibilities

• Business development: lead solution narratives and client engagement on RFPs, independently manage a small portfolio of named accounts (three to five) and represent A2O in client-facing pursuit conversations
• Stay ahead of market trends such as regulatory shifts, model and platform releases and competitor moves
• Manage day-to-day execution of existing vendor relationships and hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP), AI lab and tech product co-sell relationships, turning them into pipeline
• Own talent-pipeline partnerships for niche FDE sourcing and hand qualified leads to the Delivery & Operations Lead
• Identify high-potential start-ups and scale-ups to partner with and strengthen A2O's service offering

Required profile

• 8-12 years of total experience, with a track record in business development and client relationship management in professional services or a comparable regulated-industry consulting environment
• A track record of sourced or closed pipeline with specific figures
• Demonstrated experience managing vendor or hyperscaler alliances and converting them into pipeline
• Habit of following market developments and turning changes in AI platforms, regulation or competitors into commercial action
• Advanced English; German, French or Spanish is a plus

Required skills

• Familiarity with the EU AI regulatory landscape, particularly GDPR and the EU AI Act; broader exposure to DORA or AMLR is a plus
• Experience scouting, evaluating or building relationships with start-ups and scale-ups
• Working technical literacy across AI and data platforms
• Hands-on production delivery experience is a plus
