Senior Tax Compliance Analyst EMEA

About the role

The Senior Tax Compliance Analyst joins the Tax Compliance team in Prague and reports to the Tax Compliance Manager EMEA. The role ensures accurate and timely delivery of direct and indirect tax obligations for entities across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, review, submission and payment of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, Intrastat and other statutory filings.
• Collaborate with Accounting Services, local finance teams, Group Tax, external advisors and auditors to guarantee compliance and documentation quality.
• Maintain tax calendars, monitor deadlines, follow up on open items and escalate risks or delays.
• Support tax calculations, provisions, payments, reconciliations and related reporting for both local statutory and group purposes.
• Assist with tax audits, inspections, authority inquiries and routine correspondence, providing required schedules and responses.
• Coordinate transfer‑pricing compliance activities, including annual adjustments and documentation.
• Contribute to process documentation, controls and audit‑ready records, and identify opportunities for simplification and standardisation.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and support the Tax Compliance Manager in day‑to‑day activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, audit or advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and tax reconciliations.
• Experience in a multinational environment or shared‑service centre is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail and capability to work under tight deadlines.
• Fluent English; additional European language is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel.
• SAP (advantageous).
