Stock Manager

About the role

GXO is seeking an experienced Stock Manager to lead inventory management and warehouse optimization in its logistics hub at Velké Meziříčí. You will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, overseeing the Stock Management team, and collaborating with operations and customers to maintain high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Manage batch‑controlled inventory, expiration dates, and traceability.
• Plan and execute regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee HAZMAT inventory handling in partnership with Health & Safety.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage strategies, and picking routes using ABC analysis and product characteristics.
• Analyze inventory trends and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the inventory team, setting priorities and monitoring performance.
• Prepare inventory reports, reconciliations, root‑cause analyses, and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
• Leadership experience, capable of coaching and developing a team.
• Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations and safety standards.
