Workshop Service Technician

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care, a global leader in kidney care, is looking for a Workshop Service Technician in Prague. The role focuses on installing and de-installing equipment in patients' homes, repairing devices, making modifications and documenting work via the SAP program.

Key responsibilities

• Install new equipment and commission it according to manufacturer instructions and regulations
• Train the responsible person on monitoring equipment parameters, including limit values, frequency of checks and record keeping
• Secure service and repairs of home HD devices
• Perform regular maintenance, safety technical inspections (BTK) and preventive inspections
• Maintain and update the database of technical equipment under your competence
• Collaborate with cross-functional service and technical support teams, including process analysis for patient and customer satisfaction
• Take part in seminars, training and audits by FME QREM, SÚKL, TÜV Germany or other regulators
• Follow hygiene measures, care for measuring instruments and submit them for calibration on time

Required profile

• Secondary school or university education with a technical focus
• Category B driving licence (active driver)
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Understanding of technical documentation in English after training
