Configuration (DevOps) Engineer

About the role

Veeam is looking for a Configuration (DevOps) Engineer to support core development teams. You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for C#/.NET and C++ projects on both Windows and Linux build agents, working largely autonomously.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor build automation systems to ensure seamless software builds and deployments.
• Write and maintain scripts for infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline failures and performance across the toolchain.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools to keep environments consistent across development, testing, and production.
• Document processes, pipeline architecture, and operational standards for clear communication.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with a CI/CD system such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash and ability to use REST APIs for automation.
• Experience with Windows and/or Unix/Linux administration and Docker.
• Self‑driven, comfortable owning tasks end‑to‑end with minimal oversight.
• Proficient English for communication with international teams.
