IT Operations Team Lead

About the role

As an IT Operations Team Lead you will own the internal technology environment, guiding a small team to keep the stack robust, secure and well‑documented.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of IT specialists, fostering operational excellence and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Provide daily L1/L2 support while professionalising and scaling internal processes.
• Maintain SOC2 compliance, harden systems and audit access rights using least‑privilege principles.
• Oversee the full IT lifecycle – onboarding/off‑boarding, hardware provisioning, access management and office networking.
• Manage physical and digital workplace infrastructure, including office connectivity and conferencing technology.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement pragmatic automation.
• Collaborate with Ops/Infra teams to align technical and security standards.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new IT team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure or system administration experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Hands‑on “player‑coach” attitude, comfortable handling support tickets while leading the team.
• Strong security and compliance awareness, preferably SOC2.
• Excellent communication skills in both Czech and English.

• Networking knowledge (office Wi‑Fi, VPNs)
