Product Discovery & Prototyping Engineer

About the role

As a Product Discovery & Prototyping Engineer you will help Braiins quickly explore, validate, and shape new product ideas across Braiins Pool, Hashpower and related services. You will partner closely with the product owner to turn business ideas and user problems into clear specifications, experiments, and functional prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the product owner to explore, structure and validate new product and feature ideas.
• Translate business goals and stakeholder input into functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and validation plans.
• Use AI‑assisted tools to create quick experiments, mockups, clickable prototypes, scripts, dashboards or lightweight functional prototypes.
• Collaborate with design, backend, frontend, QA, support and data teams to assess feasibility, user value and operational impact.
• Query telemetry databases, interpret data and document findings to verify product viability before full engineering investment.

Required profile

• Mid‑ to senior‑level experience in product analysis, business & data analysis, product ownership or requirements engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to structure ambiguous ideas into clear problems, assumptions and next steps.
• Experience defining functional and non‑functional requirements, acceptance criteria, user flows and validation approaches.
• Ability to communicate effectively with product, design, engineering, QA, support and business stakeholders.
• Comfort working with technical products where decisions must consider data flows, operational behavior and customer workflows.

Required skills

• SQL (or SQL‑like query languages) for data extraction and analysis.
• APIs and data analysis techniques.
• Figma for design mockups.
• Git version control.
• Python programming.
• TypeScript or similar front‑end scripting languages.
