Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist (Data Analytics)

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist (Data Analytics) works within the Regional FP&A Centre of Excellence (MEDEBA) supporting 19 markets across Mediterranean Europe and the Baltics. Reporting to the Regional FP&A Lead, the role blends financial planning expertise with strong analytical and technical capabilities to drive forecasting, planning systems, and management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with finance teams and business stakeholders to support annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and business planning activities across multiple markets.
• Coordinate, consolidate, and validate planning inputs, ensuring accuracy of sales, pricing, expenses, headcount, and profitability drivers.
• Load, maintain, reconcile, and troubleshoot planning and reporting data within financial systems.
• Perform variance, trend, profitability, and driver‑based analyses to evaluate performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and distribute recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports, translating complex data sets into actionable insights.
• Maintain financial planning and management reporting systems, master data structures, and planning hierarchies.
• Serve as a key point of contact for finance users on data‑related and system‑related queries.
• Develop and maintain planning dashboards, reporting solutions, and Power BI visualisations.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging AI‑powered tools, automation, and advanced analytics.

Required profile

• Background in finance, FP&A, controlling, or data analytics with a strong interest in financial planning.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles in a multinational environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local finance teams and regional FP&A colleagues.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and continuous improvement.
