Intern - Associate Corporate Relationship Manager Support

About the role

As an intern supporting the Associate Corporate Relationship Manager at HSBC in the Czech Republic, you will help Relationship Managers deliver needs-based solutions for corporate customers. You will gain insight into credit processes, customer relationship management, risk monitoring and banking products, in a collaborative and international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers with customer planning, pipeline management and preparation for customer meetings
• Carry out customer research, financial analysis, credit analysis and profitability reviews, including preparing account remarks
• Coordinate credit applications and renewals with Service Delivery, Credit Services and other teams
• Support day-to-day customer queries, including credit-related enquiries, and attend customer meetings when required
• Collaborate with product teams covering payments, foreign trade and treasury
• Assist with Customer Due Diligence and Know Your Customer activities, monitor risk indicators and escalate issues in line with requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or completion of a degree, in banking, economics, finance or a related subject
• Knowledge of corporate banking products and an interest in credit analysis and customer relationship management
• Strong analytical, organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
• Proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn and work across teams
• Native-level Czech and excellent written and spoken business English
• Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence or Know Your Customer processes is an advantage
