Manager, Specialist Sales – Czech Republic & Slovakia

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Manager, Specialist Sales to drive its SME payment solutions across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In this role you will act as the subject‑matter expert for commercial execution with financial institutions, fintechs and alternative distribution partners, turning the global SME vision into measurable market outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Localise Mastercard’s SME and CNPF vision for the Czech and Slovak markets, collaborating with banks, fintechs, acquirers and ISVs.
• Develop and implement go‑to‑market approaches together with the Customer Solutions Center, account managers and business development teams, aligning with the European strategy.
• Own market performance metrics – KPIs, dashboards, pipeline discipline and win‑rate targets – for the two countries.
• Enable field teams with clear value narratives, business cases and tangible customer outcomes.
• Prioritise sales actions for new or enhanced SME services, refine positioning and roadmap based on local regulatory and competitive landscapes.
• Accelerate time‑to‑market through ecosystem levers such as partnerships, certifications, co‑marketing and implementation readiness.
• Support account managers during RFP processes with competitive intelligence and tailored value propositions.
• Drive business development across financial institutions, fintechs and alternative distribution channels, maintaining a robust and accurate segment pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading commercial execution for SME payment solutions within financial institutions, fintechs or related ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and drive go‑to‑market strategies and achieve market‑performance targets.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory, competitive and customer landscape for payments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams such as product, CSC, account management and business development.
