On‑site IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Field Support Representative I to join our IT support team in Holýšov. You will provide hands‑on technical assistance across office, manufacturing, and laboratory environments, ensuring end‑users and systems run smoothly every day.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) requests, break‑fix issues, and general end‑user support.
• Support manufacturing shop‑floor devices such as handhelds, laptops, scanners, and line‑side PCs.
• Stage, build, and image systems using the standard client image (eCore) and install/configure hardware and software.
• Provide “smart hands and feet” support for rack and stack activities, vendor access to communication rooms, and data‑center power shutdowns.
• Coordinate cable patching with vendors and ensure LAN, Wi‑Fi, video‑conferencing, printer, and voice services are operational on‑site.
• Manage the full IT asset lifecycle, including collection, labeling, imaging, allocation, recovery, and disposal.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑support skills.
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Minimum 2 years of deskside support experience.
• Ability to work effectively in clean‑room or manufacturing settings.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows OS.
• Proficiency with MS Office and common business applications.
• Basic knowledge of networks, telecom, compute/storage, and mobile device support.
• Experience with hardware installation, imaging (eCore), and rack‑and‑stack procedures.
