Site Reliability Engineer & Kubernetes Platform Engineer

About the role

NNIT is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer & Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, operate and improve secure on‑premises Kubernetes platforms for its clients. You will work across SRE, DevOps and platform engineering, combining operational duties with advisory and implementation work.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests together with internal teams and customers.
• Operate, maintain and upgrade Kubernetes platforms and tooling such as OpenShift, Rancher and Argo CD.
• Improve reliability, performance, security and operational processes of Kubernetes environments.
• Design and implement automated solutions and advise customers on DevOps and platform engineering journeys.
• Build prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts and evaluate new technologies.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment, testing and operational workflows.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in a technical engineering role (SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineer, etc.).
• Proven Linux administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience designing and operating on‑premises Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD and scripting (Bash, Python or PowerShell).
• Ability to work in a consulting environment, handling operational support, advisory work and new implementations.
