Platform Engineer – Observability Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a senior Platform Engineer to design, build and operate a modern observability platform. You will work closely with product teams to deliver reliable, secure and high‑performing cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable observability capabilities for monitoring, alerting, tracing and event management.
• Develop and automate infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and platform services using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices.
• Lead engagements with product teams to define custom observability solutions and drive continuous improvement through AIOps and telemetry insights.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, system design and DevOps.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, guide junior team members and work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Python development (Flask, FastAPI) and Bash scripting.
• Observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Big Panda, Logic Monitor, ELK, Datadog).
• Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• AI‑Ops concepts using LLM APIs.
• Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Scrum practices.
