Senior Software Engineer R&D

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer R&D to join our growing technology team in Prague. You will design and deliver modern, scalable digital solutions that are critical to our organization’s technology landscape, collaborating with global teams and driving engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design moderately complex applications and system components using modern architectures and patterns.
• Apply design thinking to translate user needs into practical, scalable solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain high‑quality software and integration services.
• Explore AI‑assisted development techniques such as prototyping, code generation, and testing acceleration.
• Lead code reviews, define deployment configurations, and manage integration builds.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality, and create impactful visualizations.
• Define and implement testing strategies, including automated and AI‑supported approaches.
• Support agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery methodologies.

Required profile

• Solid experience as a Software Engineer working with complex systems.
• Strong skills in application design, system modeling, and software architecture.
• Experience applying design thinking or user‑centered design approaches.
• Hands‑on experience or strong interest in AI‑supported prototyping and testing.
• Ability to collaborate across global, cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and strong communication skills.
