Senior Data Engineer R&D

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our R&D team in Prague. You will design, build, and optimise data solutions that enable advanced analytics, digital innovation and compliant data usage across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain complex data pipelines across diverse platforms and systems.
• Define and execute data quality checks, remediate issues and support data governance, audit controls and compliance.
• Develop and maintain data models, structures and data‑centric applications aligned with business and analytical needs.
• Collaborate with product teams, data scientists and stakeholders to ensure trusted, high‑quality data is available where needed.
• Contribute to AI prototyping, design thinking and rapid iteration of data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering and pipeline development at scale.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, databases and BI ecosystems.
• Experience in structured SDLC and compliance‑driven environments (GxP a plus).
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
