Proposal Writer (German, IT, Bid Management)

About the role

D-ploy is looking for a Proposal Writer / Bid Writer in Prague to support its business development and client acquisition. You will write, edit and proofread proposals and bids for RFPs, RFQs and other client requests, turning them into accurate, persuasive documents that communicate the company's value proposition and capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit and proofread proposals, bids and other business documents, focusing on technical content and compliance with client requirements.
• Use your technical knowledge of the industry to produce detailed technical responses.
• Research clients, their needs and the competitive landscape to tailor proposals.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers and subject matter experts to gather information.
• Manage the full bid process from request to submission, tracking progress and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure proposals meet formatting, content and submission guidelines.
• Improve proposal templates, boilerplate content and case studies, and review submissions for quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Proposal Writer or Bid Writer.
• Fluent English and German; IT industry knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience in project management, meeting tight deadlines, and understanding of procurement and government contracting.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Strong research, analytical and organisational skills.
