About the role
ABB is looking for a Software Lead Engineer to drive R&D projects in industrial automation. You will be the first point of contact for product‑related issues, mentor junior developers and help shape innovative software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain expertise in a specific technology area and integrate the latest tools and methodologies.
- Identify, propose and implement innovative solutions, documenting findings, designs and code.
- Generate and contribute to intellectual property strategy for your domain.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset, clean‑code principles and experience mentoring junior developers.
- Fluent in Czech and English (B2 or higher) for effective international collaboration.
Required skills
- .NET Core.NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework
- JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Angular, HTML, CSS
- RESTful APIs, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Git, SQL Server, Azure Cloud Services
- Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, Docker, Kubernetes
