Sourcing Team Lead

About the role

The Sourcing Team Lead will oversee procurement of goods and services that support Kenvue’s manufacturing and supply‑chain operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the EMEA Sourcing Manager, this hybrid role combines hands‑on sourcing with leadership of a team of sourcing specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of sourcing professionals to ensure timely, compliant procurement.
• Manage direct and indirect procurement for local manufacturing and operational sites.
• Negotiate complex, high‑value contracts to secure optimal pricing, quality and delivery terms.
• Maintain and optimise strategic supplier relationships, including consolidation and substitution initiatives.
• Prepare and evaluate formal bid packages for inventory and operational needs.
• Troubleshoot supplier delivery issues, order discrepancies, pricing and quality problems.
• Educate internal stakeholders on sourcing strategies, alternatives and supplier selection criteria.
• Analyse market trends, identify risks and propose cost‑mitigation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal and Finance teams to align with global and regional procurement strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with proven leadership of teams or projects.
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex supplier contracts.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of sourcing processes, bid preparation and supplier management.
