Technical Sales Representative – Infrastructure

About the role

Sika, a global leader in sealants, adhesives, insulation and reinforcement products for construction and industry, is expanding its technical sales team in the Business Unit Infrastructure across Moravia. The role is aimed at helping customers implement construction projects through technical advice and tailored solutions, rather than simple sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long-term cooperation with existing customers through personal contact, meeting them regularly
• Travel frequently (up to four days a week) and meet new people in the market
• Negotiate with construction companies and their suppliers on varied assignments
• Propose specific technical solutions and explain their benefits
• Organise your own work and plan your day
• Work closely with colleagues from other departments

Required profile

• University degree or technical secondary school plus practical experience
• Ability to read basic technical material in English and exchange a few English emails with colleagues abroad
• Self-motivated, able to organise your own work and enjoy being on the move and in customer meetings
• Willingness to learn new things and apply them in practice
